Yes, reduced registration rates are provided to those individuals living and working in Low, Low-Middle, countries as listed on the World Bank List of Economies.

How do I book my accommodation?
We encourage attendees to make accommodation bookings on the congress website to access the preferred rates. All attendees are responsible for their own bookings.
How can I get from Cape Town International Airport to the congress venue or my hotel?
Cape Town International Airport (CTIA) is Africa’s most award winning airport. As Africa’s 3rd largest airport it processes over 8 million passengers annually with over 50 % of the country’s air passengers passing through the airport. It is the primary airport serving the city of Cape Town.
How do I make an accessibility request?
Please note: Our sessions will take place at the CTICC, which provides an accessible environment. The CTICC building incorporates international norms as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the South African Building Regulations (NBR) Standards. This includes safe and easy building and venue access, accessible lifts and restrooms, as well as designated parking bays for the disabled.
I need a letter of invitation as I am traveling from abroad. How do I make sure I get this letter in time to make travel arrangements and obtain a visa?
Individuals may request letters of invitation from the organisers at avron@soafrica.com to support their efforts to obtain travel visas for the 27th IUBMB/FASBMB/SASBMB Congress 2027.
Please note that you must be a paid registrant to receive a letter.
I will need a certificate of attendance for my employer. How do I obtain one?

There is no group registration discount, but you can contact Avron at avron@soafrica.com, who can provide a Group 2+ form, which will allow you to add more than one person to your invoice.
